BMW has launched top of the range x7 M50d which is brought into India as completely built up unit(CBU).
The new x7 M50d is powered by a 3.0 litre quad-turbocharged diesel engine producing 400hp and 760Nm of torque. An 8-Speed Steptronic Sport Transmission sends power to all-four wheels through BMW’s xDrive system. 0-100kmph comes up in 5.4secs and the top speed is limited to 250kmph.
The x7 M50d comes loaded with all the M-goodies. It gets 21inch alloy wheels in orbit grey with run-flat tires, M sport exhaust, M Sport brake with blue brake calipers and tweaked front and rear bumper which makes it look sportier than the regular models.
On the interior the x7 comes with alcantara headliner, M leather steering wheel, M multi-functional seats on the front, M floor mats and door sill with illuminated M.
Features list, includes a 12.3inch touchscreen infotainment, full digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay along with gesture control, Bowers and Wilkins sound system, three-part panoramic glass sunroof, Laser LED headlights, five-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, air suspension, wireless charging and soft-close doors.
On the safety aspect M50d gets airbags, ABS, traction control, electronic stability control, adaptive cruise control, park assist, dynamic brake control a 360-degree camera and front and rear parking sensors.
The New x7 M50d is priced at 1.6 crores(ex-showroom, India) and competes with range rover sport, cayenne and the q8.
