New Toyota Fortuner has been revealed with major updates, after five long years since its debut in 2015.
The exterior design has been notably enhanced with larger front grille and silver bumper strips, giving the car a stronger sense of rigidity, luxury, and masculinity. The car is also installed with newly designed Light Guiding Headlights with Daytime Running Light as well as the astonishing LED Light Guiding Taillights, making it stand out at night. In addition, the new Fortuner comes with the redesigned 18-inch alloy wheels.
Interiors of the new Fortuner have not been touched, but a new 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay has been included. Other new goodies like 360-Degree Camera , Wireless Charging, LED ambient lighting and a 9-speaker JBL audio system have been added.
Under the hood the new 2.8-liter engine has been advanced to give a maximum output of 204 PS and a flat torque of 500 Nm from 1,600 – 2,800 rpm, making it possible for the vehicle to offer a fulfilling sensation and exceptional performance in all driving conditions while ensuring greater fuel economy.
Facelifted Fortuner is expected to arrive in India by June 2021 , expect its prices to be higher than that of the current model which starts from Rs28.66 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.
